SAVA J4: history and specs

The SAVA J4 was a van manufactured in the Spanish city of Valladolid by the company Sociedad Anónima de Vehículos Automóviles (SAVA) between 1965 and 1989, under license from the British Morris Motor Company. It was derived from the British Morris Commercial J4 model, also initially sold as the Austin J4 and Morris J4, and later as the BMC J4. After ENASA acquired SAVA, it was sold as the Pegaso SAVA J4, and by the 1980s simply as the Pegaso J4.

It was available with a fully enclosed body, a glazed 9-seater, and a mixed 5-seater. Besides being sold as a van, it was also available as a panel van, pickup truck, and chassis cab, allowing for the customization of the cargo box style and features to suit the customer's preferences.

Launch and Features:

The Sava J4 was first introduced in the mid-1960s and manufactured for two decades until the late 1980s. It was designed as a light truck with load capacities that made it suitable for commercial and transport tasks in both urban and rural areas.
